From Atinut’s micro teaching, I would like to reflect her
teaching to develop and adopt in my teaching. The micro teaching is related to how the young learner to put sort garbage in the bin appropriately. The time
required in this lesson is an hour per period. I found that her micro teaching
is full of useful techniques and materials; however, there is something that needs
to be developed.
Atinut micro teaching was about sorting the garbage. She began the lesson by greeting students. Next, she stimulated the situation
by asking students
to look to the garbage under
their table and ask them
what should they do
with these garbage?
After that , she shown three
kinds of bins
and bring out
of the garbage
and teach the
students a vocabulary
about them. For example, waste tire,
waste can, waste glass, waste paper etc. In Task Cycle, She divided students
in to groups
and then ask
them to come
out and play
game " Where should
I go ? ". This
game one of
the student have
to be close
his eyes and
each students in
their group have
to run to
get a garbage
and bring it
back to the blinded students.
After that he
have to ask
"Is this a / an ..........
?" If his
answer correct he
has to put
that garbage in the correct
bin also. From
this point the
students is going
to have fun
and also learn
how to ask
and give information with their
friends. It gave students with fun activities and knowledge together.
To sum up, Atinut's micro teaching was quite good.Students learn how to
sort the garbage
in the bins correctly. Moreover, the grammar
point the interrogative sentence of present perfect tense was useful for the students. However, she did not summarize how the lesson related to the public mind. I think that the public mind should be focused.
